Job Description/Responsibilities

This position requires a highly motivated individual who is comfortable with rapid changes in direction and environment. The successful candidate will be customer oriented and results driven.

Develop, implement, and maintain web-based applications using PHP 5, javascript, jquery, and Oracle;
Review, analyze and modify applications which includes coding, testing, debugging, and documenting. Build test plans to ensure code modifications do not result in failures of project specifications
Ensure that deployed applications are properly maintained throughout their lifecycle
Troubleshoot issues and work with the appropriate resources/parties to resolve them
Provide level-of-effort estimates regarding completion for all projects
Work closely with Technical Architect, other team members, and business analysts to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives;

Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
3+ years experience developing web-based applications in PHP 5
Experience working with PHP MVC frameworks, preferably ZEND
Experience with HTML,JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS, Oracle
Excellent debugging skills
Experience with source control procedures, specifically SVN
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willing to go the extra mile to accomplish a task
Success working in a team-based environment
Experience writing SQL queries including complex joins

Desired Skills
Experience with Java/PHP Bridge
Experience with mobile web development
Excellent speaking and communication skills

Java/J2EE Developer
Sr. Developers are expected to work independently and deliver high quality JEE code in a timely manner across a variety of project engagements. Sr. Developers are expected to
participate in multiple phases of projects, including requirements gathering, software design, development and testing. Sr. Developers must be proficient with JEE and object-
oriented programming, including software design and design patterns. Experience working with standard application servers such as BEA WebLogic and IBM WebSphere is
expected. Experience working with package solutions such as BEA WebLogic Portal or Interwoven is a plus.

Candidates must be proficient with standard JAVA development tools, including ANT, Maven, log4J, JUnit, and popular IDE*s such as Eclipse. Proficiency with open source

Required Experience/Skills

Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a UI Developer. The responsibilities will include working with a team to develop rich user interfaces for enterprise-level hosted financial applications; constantly driving for consistent user interaction by building cutting-edge UI functionality. In addition, you will be able to clearly communicate your ideas and both openly and honestly provide and receive regular input from your peers. While teamwork is of the utmost in importance, you can also work independently with minimal supervision, and take the initiative to constantly keep yourself engaged. Also, you never settle for second best. You possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail, and possess the ability to quickly understand and solve unique and even undocumented programming problems.
