Web Developer

Complex Media is currently seeking a qualified Web Developer (entry to mid level) to join its Digital team.
The candidate will be responsible for building, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting company web sites and their related online properties.
The candidate will work with project manager, other developers and designers, to create elegant solutions to our clients needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype, build and style web pages
- Adhere to project schedules and effectively report progress to meet challenging deadlines
- Stay knowledgeable of the industry standards and trends

Must haves:
- 2+ years experience in web development
- Hands on knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS as well as other web development/production tools
- Working knowledge of LAMP environment
- Working knowledge of Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatible dynamic web applications (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- Familiarity with and adherence to web standards

Nice to have (not required):
- Experience with ActionScript or Flex
- Experience with jQuery and other Ajax frameworks
- Familiarity with MODx, WordPress and/or other mainstream Open Source CMS
- Experience with IDE (Komodo, DW), version control (SVN, CVS) and Debugging tools (Firebug, Charles)
- Familiarity with SEO standards and techniques

Must have demonstrated expertise in creating online marketing solutions, including e-commerce websites, flash presentations, banner ads, landing pages and email marketing· Innovative design and typographic skills· Knowledge of fashion and retail
