The ultimate candidate has extremely strong CSS and jQuery AJAX skills.
A background of Visual Studio, ASP.NET and C# is needed to support implementation of CSS styles along with modifying ASCX controls and ASPX pages to ensure the proper HTML output.

Description:

The ideal candidate is an expert in modern web design with hands on experience with HTML, CSS3, HTML5, cross-browser compatibility, and JavaScript.
Sites are expanding quickly, so we need someone who can keep up with our fast-paced development without sacrificing quality.
The position will report to the Technology Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Creating and editing standards-compliant CSS and semantic HTML markup
• Using JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX technologies to improve the user experience
• Creating front end templates using jQuery and JSON result sets
• Ensuring cross-browser compatibility on new and existing code
• Structuring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to promote reuse, reduce duplication, and ensure consistency throughout the site
• Ability to work with a CSS grid layout
• Working with the product managers and developers to implement new features and functionality
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience with web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) technologies
• Knowledge of XML and JSON mandatory
• Demonstrated, expert-level knowledge of web standards and best practices
• Experience creating web sites from Photoshop mock ups and wireframes
• Familiarity with source control and change management concepts
• Knowledge of ASP.NET/C# web development and Visual Studio development environment
• Experience in designing/developing within Job Board space is a big plus
